As technology continues to advance, students are increasingly able to accomplish tasks with ease and efficiency. To help students develop essential Basic Life Skills, Noah Elementary School organized a workshop in collaboration with Ruang Tumbuh, themed Basic Life Skills: Fundamental Skills for Everyone. The workshop aimed to:
- Teach students good personal hygiene and effective time management. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and using time wisely, these skills are foundational for personal and academic success.
- Develop effective communication skills, including understanding and managing their emotions. By fostering these abilities, students learn to express themselves clearly and handle interpersonal relationships with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Help students become more efficient in completing tasks. Encouraging students to approach tasks with focus and efficiency, this skill set prepares them to handle responsibilities with confidence and competence.
By teaching basic life skills to elementary students, we prepare them for the future by fostering independence, promoting health and safety, enhancing social and emotional well-being, and equipping them with the tools needed for academic and personal success. These skills help shape confident individuals who can navigate life’s challenges effectively.
