Student Council Election and Leadership Training

Students Council of Noah Middle School serves as the voice of the student body, providing a platform for students to express their ideas, concerns, and initiatives. Composed of elected representatives from grade 7 & 8, the council works closely with school to improve the overall school environment, organize events, and promote student involvement in school activities. Through leadership, teamwork, and communication, the Students Council fosters a sense of responsibility among its members while encouraging active participation in school governance. It aims to empower students to take initiative, contribute to the school community, and develop essential leadership skills that will benefit them in the future.
On 26 August 2024 Noah middle school held the Students Council Election for academic year 2024/2025. Thus election is a highly anticipated annual event where students get the opportunity to vote for their peers who will represent their interests in the council. There are 3 candidates which are Raditya and Vira as candidates number 1, Arfa and Benaya as candidates number 2, Dinesh and Revano  as candidate number 3. The Candidates campaign by sharing their ideas and plans to enhance school life, covering topics such as event, student welfare, and community engagement. The election fosters a sense of democracy within the school, allowing students to participate in decision-making processes while learning about leadership and responsibility. This event not only strengthens the student body’s involvement but also promotes teamwork, communication, and collaboration across the entire school.
After a 2-week process for electing the President, Vice Presidents and OSIS members, the students carried out leadership training on August 31, 2024. The Students Council Leadership Training at Noah Middle School is an essential program designed to equip both newly elected and aspiring student leaders with the skills they need to lead effectively. The training covers critical areas such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and ethical decision-making. Led by experienced teachers and previous OSIS, the program emphasizes the importance of collaboration, empathy, and integrity in leadership. By participating in this training, students gain valuable insights into managing responsibilities, resolving conflicts, and inspiring others, preparing them to take on leadership roles within the school and beyond.
