Strategies for New Adaptations: Strengthening Ties and Social Skills Development

The new school year has begun, and to help students prepare for and adapt to their new environment—where they will meet new friends and teachers— Noah Elementary School hosted a seminar in collaboration with Klik Psikolog. The seminar, themed Strategies for New Adaptations: Strengthening Ties and Social Skills Development,’ took place during Orientation Days and featured a variety of activities, including games and discussions designed to help students:

  • Adapt effectively to a new environment and take on new responsibilities. This involves understanding the changes in their academic and social settings and developing the skills needed to navigate these changes smoothly.
  • Engage with new friends of both the same and different genders. The focus was on building social connections that prepare them for the next level of their education, encouraging inclusivity and mutual respect.

Students with strong social skills are better equipped to collaborate with their peers and teachers, fostering a more productive and harmonious classroom environment while enhancing both their academic and non-academic skills.
